# Overview

> Authenticated MCP task stores for generic servers, and the provider packages that persist them.

Start with the in-memory store in Core. HTTP hosts call `AddHttpContextAccessor()` and pass a factory that resolves `IHttpContextAccessor` from the built provider. When the host scales out, swap in a durable provider of the same contract.
