McpEssentials is CloudNimble’s companion to the official MCP C# SDK. It fills the gaps that show up the moment you host a generic MCP server for more than one user: per-user task isolation, and a family of stores that persist those tasks in the engine you already run. The first package is McpEssentials.Core. It ships InMemoryMcpTaskStorePlus, an IMcpTaskStorePlus that records who started a task and refuses tasks/get, tasks/update, and tasks/cancel from anyone else.

Why MCP Essentials?

The SDK speaks the protocol. This layer is what a real-world generic server still needs.

Quickstart

Authenticated tasks, a form, and a durable store in a few steps.

Authenticated tasks

Stamp the logged-in user on create. Isolate later manipulation to that user.

Choose a store

Database, distributed cache, and eventing. Entity Framework Core works with any EF provider.
The in-memory Streamable HTTP sample is samples/CloudNimble.McpEssentials.Samples.Basic. Entity Framework Core, Redis, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL each have their own sample in the same folder. See Authenticated tasks for run commands.
